It's versatile, suitable for various surfaces including tile, wood, laminate, concrete, vinyl, and linoleum.
The Base Coat is compatible with Rust-Oleum's Home Top Coat, available in either a semi-gloss or matte finish (sold separately), completing the transformation. Primarily intended for interiors, it effortlessly adheres to bare, stained, sealed, or previously coated surfaces like ceramic tile, porcelain, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and linoleum.
Utilizing a water-based formula, this coating eliminates the need for labor-intensive processes like stripping, sanding, or priming. To achieve optimal results, ensure the floor is free of caulk and wax prior to applying the Rust-Oleum HOME Base Coat. Follow the application with a 6-hour wait, followed by the Home Top Coat, and allow a 24-hour curing period before resuming regular foot traffic.
